Intel is a traditional manufacturer that has an extensive portfolio of offered products, from basic - less powerful System on Chip solutions to Xeon processors suitable for up to eight-processor systems. The new AMD ROME processors are primarily intended for applications where the customer will use a large number of cores. It can have up to 64 on each processor. New in the AMD portfolio are System on Chip solutions that are suitable for cost effective servers.
